- Your problem is with the 31kHz frequency - this is much too low for a high
- resolution display. The optimum is around 72kHz - give or take. I have a
- multisync that scans at about 50 (I'm not at my Amiga right now) and I use
- the 1024x768 mode for my Workbench with absolutely no flicker. If I go to
- a higher resolution, I start to get flicker - which is to be expected.
-
- About going off the screen - this is going to happen because your monitor
- is probably adjusted for a different (lower) horizontal frequency. There
- should be a adjustment for this. If you ever get a multiscan monitor, make
- sure the horizontal position control is on the front panel. When switching
- between native 15kHz and, say, 72kHz screens, the horizontal will shift.

- This is not the Picasso's fault. WorkBench was designed for no more than
- 256 colors. You can get millions of colors with certain programs - like
- TV Paint. My 256 color Picasso WB is MUCH faster than a 256 color AGA WB.

- Good question! It has supposedly gone commercial, but I haven't seen it.

- I know you don't want to hear it, but get a better monitor.
